Rice Boy

I’ve been keeping up with a great comic lately, recommended to me by my friend and co-conspirator, Jamie. It’s actually quite fantastic. It’s your typical fantasy epic type thing really, with religious and philisophical themes. Basically it’s about Rice Boy, a small creature who is picked by T-O-E (which stands for The One Electronic, the best name I’ve heard for a character in a long long time!) to be a sort of messiah. It’s long and somewhat convoluted, spanning 5 books and 36 chapters and isn’t something you’re going to complete in one session. But though the art is somewhat simplistic, it’s fantastical and beautiful and creates this whole world unto itself.
